Simple Self-Care Tips

These days there are so many roles that we must juggle each and every day – spouse, partner, parent, employee, care-taker, mentor. As we scramble to eke out enough time to meet our multiple responsibilities, we often wish we could clone ourselves. But, alas, there is only one us – and to be effective at accomplishing all of our tasks, we need to take very good care of the only one of us there is.

When it comes to self-care, everyone has different needs since the varying demands put on us affect us in very different ways. Some need to nourish their bodies more effectively, others need mental and emotional support to cope with life’s stresses, still others require food for the soul to recharge their spiritual stores. Realistically, though, most of us need a combination of all three.
