“If only I had more energy!”
Who hasn’t felt that way? Fatigue represents a national energy crisis of another stripe. Maybe the evergrowing “to-do” lists are nagging us or maybe we’re battling a health challenge or general sluggishness that keeps us from contributing our best at home and at work and saps our strength so that we no longer enjoy simple things like walking the dog or playing with the grandkids. Is it any wonder our society guzzles energy drinks and potions? But the truth is caffeine, sugar, and other stimulants aren’t energy solutions as much as they are energy drains. Instead of jolting our bodies to alertness, we need to build a deep well of restorative energy that makes us resilient and strong, able to fully participate in all life has to offer.
Our Need for Energy
We need energy for every thing we do, from blinking to thinking to healing. When we carry groceries, digest a meal, puzzle out a problem, laugh with friends, or heal from a cut, we expend energy, and lots of it. To produce that energy, our cells require a steady supply of healthful foods and organic supplements brimming with their own pure energy. The cells then transform these raw resources into a powerful, deep energy that will feed, fuel, regenerate, and nourish our bodies for a lifetime. This energy factory inside our cells never stops and any interruption can pose serious problems for us.
For a moment, imagine this cellular industry as a bustling farmer’s market. Picture the farmers unloading trucks heaped with fresh fruits and vegetables while simultaneously taking orders, directing staff, offering samples, and rearranging displays as throngs of shoppers jostle for position to pick through the merchandise. Your cells are at work in much the same way: they’re the ultimate multi-taskers and the closest thing to living perpetual motion there is! When the “truck” in the form of your digestive system delivers food, the cells scramble to sort through the goods. Ideally, our hungry cells will find both the quality and quantity of nutrients they need to absorb so they’ll have plenty of energy.
But unlike the customers at the farmer’s market, our cells don’t have the option to shop somewhere else if they don’t find the produce up to par. Our cells have to make do with whatever we feed them. Too often our diets desperately lack the kinds of healthy, energy-filled foods our cells need to create the deep-acting energy for detoxification, regeneration and maintaining our health.
While grab-and-go energy products jar us to action, they’re short-term performers that actually steal from our reservoirs of core energy. This creates an energy “crisis” causing our bodies to send distress calls to organs and glands for short-term boosts. Eventually, too many withdraws from our energy banks empties the account and we feel fatigued, or worse, we become ill. This is because insufficient energy is created by shallow and artificial fuel sources and this disrupts the body’s crucial need for balance and a deeper type of energy. To avoid this, we need to consistently replenish ourselves with a steady supply of authentic energy that enables our bodies and minds to adapt to life’s demands.
The Secret to Authentic Energy is Living, Vital Foods
The quality and quantity of energy you are able to produce is only as good as the raw resources that make it. Just as you wouldn’t expect farmers to grow wholesome food without healthy seeds, rich soil, clean water, and sunshine, neither can you expect your cells to produce high-quality or authentic energy without eating a diet rich in phytonutrients, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and amino acids and “life force”. These are found in living, vital foods.
Living foods emanate abundant energy, which is the marker of health in any organism. Using a sophisti- cated research process called Kirlian photography, scientists have captured on film the emission of energy from certain living foods. These photos show radiating patterns of bright light emanating from healthy plants and stunted, uneven patterns of feeble light coming from unhealthy plants. Most mass-market, processed foods are likely to show weak energy patterns. This is because conventional and chemical-based farming techniques use toxic compounds and practices that erode the soil of nutrients, robbing plants of micronutrients that, in turn, disables the plants from producing energy. Even organically farmed foods can lose nutritional value during the journey from the field to our dinner table through poor harvesting methods, high-heat processing, and the use of plastic packaging. When we eat energy-diminished foods, we compromise our own health and experience energy highs and lows throughout the day.
Restorative, Foundational Energy
Wellness is far more than the absence of disease – it’s a state of vitality and balance. Wellness means we perform at optimal ability at any age. But this requires we build a storehouse of deep, restorative energy by eating and supplementing with living, vital foods.
When we generate this foundational energy, we invest in our long-term health. By strengthening our cells and organs, we give them the ability to adapt to whatever life brings our way. With increased adaptability we’re equipped to fend off not only seasonal and common bugs but also diseases and ailments; we sail through the course of the day without reacting to triggers that once stressed us out; and as we age, our bodies transition smoothly through the process. In short, this deep-acting, restorative energy makes us more resilient.
This sort of foundational energy is what nature intended for us. In fact, the earth is a vibrant hum of synergized energy production occurring through photosynthesis, oceanic thermal energy conversion, and the metabolism of every living organism. Each of these is integral to the other and living foods are reflections of this balance and synergy.

Most everyone talks about a sustained energy when taking Pure Synergy and they report fewer and less severe occurrences of illness, relief from chronic health problems, increased mental clarity, and faster recovery from adverse health conditions. Many of our customers have written to tell us their success stories from taking Pure Synergy. For example, a customer writes, “I am 50 now and I feel better than when I was 30.” A mother of two writes to say, “I have more energy, feel better, and the frequency and duration of most common illnesses have been reduced dramatically.”
Energy is truly the wellspring of life. All it takes is our commitment to feed our bodies what they need through a diet of living foods and a healthy lifestyle, supported by regular supplementation with Pure Synergy.
After a 43-year career in finance, the last nine of which have been spent as Chief Financial Officer for The Synergy Company, Terry May has decided it’s time to put away the ledgers and take out the lenses — camera lenses to be precise.
“Leaving Synergy is bittersweet for me,” Terry says. “I love the culture and the ethics of the company.” Terry is the older brother of Synergy founder Mitchell May and has played an integral role since the company’s inception. As Mitchell shaped the blueprint for Synergy, Terry advised his brother on finance and organization and invested in the young company. Through the years, Terry remained a consultant to the firm before accepting the CFO position in 2001.
Supporting his brother at The Synergy Company proved a joyful chapter in a story that could have had a very different ending - while Terry was at UCLA, Mitchell was in a near-fatal car accident. Terry rushed to his brother’s side, supporting Mitchell through his long recovery and witnessing the emergence of his brother’s healing and perceptive powers. It was a process that Terry May says changed his life forever.
But photography and family adventures are calling and Terry's looking forward to spending time with his wife, Robin, their children, and grandchildren. Still, he can't help himself: he already has at least one long-term project plotted out. It will probably take two years to sort through the 20,000+ prints and 10,000+ digital photos I've collected on my travels, he laughs.
Terry happily acknowledges that the task of sorting photos is not likely to end, because he is passionate about travel. He and Robin are lining up plenty of photo-worthy adventures, including a Mediterranean cruise.
When he’s stationary, Terry will provide part-time consulting to Synergy from his home in North Carolina. His successor is Patrick Neff, joining The Synergy Company as the Director of Finance and Administration. Patrick holds an MBA from Cornell and brings years of financial management experience to the company. He hails from Salt Lake City via Japan where he lived for a number of years. Synergy extends a fond “Bon Voyage” to Terry and a warm welcome to Patrick.

Kelly from Tampa, FL writes:
The first time I started using Pure Synergy, I could actually feel a difference in my body. I may not be coming up with the right words for what I was experiencing, but there was something happening inside on a deeper level. I experienced more energy, but at an even level through the day. I felt stronger, calmer and that my body was receiving and absorbing something it had been missing. I use it every morning in a shake. I blend it with half water and half unsweetened coconut milk, adding frozen blueberries and goji berries and a teaspoon of coconut butter(oil).
